There was a real sense of warmth across Eastgate Square this Mother’s Day, as families spent time together enjoying a series of thoughtful pop-ups and activities across the centre.
From beautifully arranged bouquets by Natalya’s Home Story and Harper’s Bloom Bar to the much-loved colour-your-own flower shop, visitors were invited to slow down, get creative and celebrate the day in their own way.

The return of pop-ups to the centre was particularly well received, with many visitors commenting on how lovely it was to see these moments brought back into the space.
One visitor shared: “It’s so nice to have a florist back here — it makes everything easier when you can just pop in and pick something up.”

Families also embraced the interactive element of the weekend, with one parent saying: “We loved the flower colouring — it gave us a chance to sit down together and actually spend time as a family, which you don’t always get when you’re out shopping.”

Moments like these are part of Eastgate Square’s ongoing transformation — creating a place not just to shop, but to spend time, connect and enjoy the experience of being in the city.
With more events, pop-ups and seasonal moments planned throughout the year, there’s plenty more to look forward to!
